Bormida can be reached taking the Autostrada dei A6 (E717) Torino-Savona, exit Altare, then following the SP38/Strada Provinciale Osiglia-Bormida-Melogno. Alternatively, from Finale Ligure there is the SP490 then the SP15 Strada Provinciale Carcare-Pallare-Bormida-Melogno. This itinerary is 25 km (about a half-hour driving).
