Caramanico Terme can easily be reached by A25 Pescara-Rome, exit Scafa.
There are bus connections from Pescara, near railway stations are Chieti, Alanno [you can find trains timetables and tickets on the official Trenitalia website]
40 km away there is the International Abruzzo Airport where it will be possible to pick up a rental car. Rome airport is 220 km to the west.
Located in the heart of Abruzzo, Caramanico is a good starting point for trekking and biking itineraries into the mountains, to visit the hermitages of St. Peter Celestine, or the Tholoi, ancient shepeards' huts in dry stone, as well as being within easy reach of all the modern shopping and tourist sites of the Pescara-Chieti conurbation.
