Montefalco is a town in the central part of the province of Perugia, on an outcrop of the Colli Martani above the flood plain of the Clitunno river. The comune of Montefalco and a small area of the comune of Bevagna are the regulated geographical area for Montefalco wines. The town is also included among the "Borghi più Belli d'Italia"
