A small town situated in the Val Chiusella, Trausella rises at the center of a small alluvial plain on the right bank of the river Chiusella, surrounded by mountains and meadows of once rich forage cultivations, which once allowed the making of a typical cheese. The houses are the typical Canavese constructions with arches, balconies with wooden lobbies, stone walls, "lose" roofs made in wood and tiles in the lose or Luserna stone.
