Province of Mantova, Lombardy

The Province is situated 30 Km from Verona and 100 Km from Bologna in a strategic geographical position within easy reach of Italian and European markets.

The territory is mostly plain and rich in waters, with the rivers Mincio, Oglio and Secchia, tributaries of the Po. Before the unity of Italy (1861) the province was half its present size, and a number of communes were included in the provinces of Brescia and Cremona.
