Castelnuovo Parano, Province of Frosinone, Lazio
The town is located in the southern province of Frosinone. Its name comes from "Castelnuovo delle Fratte" (Fratte is today Ausonia), to which thename Parano was added from the name of a castle built on Mount Perano. From Castelnuovo beautiful excursions are possible to the summit of Monte Calvo.

History
