San Martino Sannita, Province of Benevento, Campania
Located at the foot of the Colle dell'Angelo, 11 km from Benevento, the place derives its name from a church of the 9th century, and was originally called San Martino in Cucciano, from the Roman site "Fundus Cocceianus". Subsequently the name changed to San Martino Ave Grazia Plenia (A.G.P.), and in 1861, after the unity of Italy, to "San Martino Sannita".
