San Potito Ultra, Province of Avellino, Campania
It is part of the Union of Municipalities "Terre dei Filangieri", including also Candida and Parolise.
Located about 8 km from Avellino, San Potito is bordered by hills and by the Salzola torrent, along which there were once several mills and an old copper processing factory. Its territory is crossed by State Road 7bis "Ofantina", which is the main link with the province capital and other municipalities of the province.

From the 13th century it was a hamlet of Candida, then it became an autonomous fiefdom in the second half of the 17th century. Formerly known as "Radicozzo", it was later called San Potito and in 1860 San Potito Ultra, to distinguish it from San Potito Sannitico in the Province of Caserta.
The territory has favored agricultural activity, for the most part directed to the cultivations of wine grapes (Aglianico and Fiano di Avellino). In the district called Ramiera there are still the traditional crafts of copper and wrought iron.
