This medieval hamlet, situated on a hillside overlooking the valley of the Calore Irpino river, has narrow stone lanes, lovely portals decorated by local artists between the 18th and 19th centuries, cast iron balconies.
An ancient settlement of the bronze age was identified in the area of Monte dei Monti, and arches of a Roman bridge of the first century AD can still be seen in its territory.
