Jacurso, Province of Catanzaro, Calabria
The village lies at the narrowest part of Calabria, where it is therefore possible to see both the Tyrrhenian to the Ionian Seas. The origins, according to some folk tales, date back to the 15th century when a group of shepherds settled in these lands. Presently its economy is based on agriculture and livestock breeding.
