Rapolla, Province of Potenza, Basilicata

The town rises on a hill of the north-eastern slope of Mount Vulture among olives trees, vineyards and cultivations of figs and peppers.
The place is well-known for its production of wines (Malvasia, Aglianico and Moscato) preserved in the caves of volcanic tuff of the Urban Park of Cellars), and of extra virgin olive oil. It is a destination for thermal tourism, connected to the presence of acid-ferruginous waters flowing from three springs in the "Orto del Lago" district.
