In the Michetti chamber in L'Aquila the Aprutium prize awarded to:
- Ercole Cordivari enterpreneur from Morro d'Oro for thermohydraulic technologies;
- Nino Di Paolo, born in Cansano, a general in the Guardia di Finanza;
- Fabrizia D'Ottavio from Chieti, a silver medal in gymnastics in the Athens Olympics
- Angelo Fabbrini from Pescara, a piano technical master, well known in Italy, Japan and the USA
- Paolo Gambescia from Lanciano, director of Il Messaggero

The Aprutium prize is granted to the Abruzzese who won recognition in their field of activity in Italy and the world.
