The flag of the Province of Teramo waves on Peak Chapaeva, 6313 mt, in the Tien Shan (Blue-light Mountains), Kazakhstan. The members of the climbing expediton "Khan Tenghri 2002", organized by «Associazione Cordadoppia Val Vomano di Penna Sant'Andrea» reached the peak.

High water in piazzale Marconi, Chieti Scalo, in front of the train station: the Tiburtina road transformed into a muddy river, garages and cellars flooded, water also in the library of the Marrucino teather. The storm was pretty strong also in the Vastese area and in the coastal towns of the province of Teramo.
