Dino Tomassetti, 75, born in Collepietro, a town of the Aquilan hinterland, is well known in America and New York. Emigrated 50 years ago, Tomassetti founded the "Laquila Construction" in New York in 1968, after working as an experienced mason in cement. His company is today one of the 400 main building societies in the USA. Tomassetti was invited to the Usa by the Americans who he sided with against the Germans, during the II world war.
