Paolo De Girolamo, 41, professor of Ingegneria Costiera e Marittima at the Facoltà d'Ingegneria dell'Aquila is the coordinator of Progetto Ricama, aiming at involving all interested official parties to give solutions to the problems of the erosion of Abruzzese coasts. The Project will follow three points: localize risk areas, planning the connected coast, intervention establishing a kind of Land Use Register for the Coast.
