2000 of the Abruzzese who disappeared in Russia in 1942 have not returned yet. Yesterday four small metal urns brought back the remains of Ltnt. Nestore Tucceri Cimini, from Cerchio, whose brother has been waiting for 58 years. 21-year-old Domenico Branella, from Nereto (Te), Ulisse Di Croce, 28, from Tornareccio (Ch) and Gianfranco Di Fazio, 25, from Civitella Casanova. An association has been established to pursue the research for more victims, says President Silvano Zitti, whose father is still buried in somewhere Russia.
