L'Aquila - European Gold to Alessandra Susmeli in Roller skating / Alessandra Susmeli oro d'Europa.
Alessandra Susmeli, 24, from L'Aquila won the gold on the 1.5 km, silver in the 5 km, and bronze in the 2 circuits. A fine result also for 17-year-old Lorenzo Papola with three third places.

Seventeen canadian students stayed in Caramanico for a week within an exchange program with a group of abruzzese students who visited Toronto. They visited Sulmona, Pescara, Serramonacesca, then last Saturday concluded their visit at the hermitage of Santo Spirito. They said they were very happy to get to know the land where their roots can be traced.

Paolo Caucci von Sauchen has organized for 30 years now a meeting of Bourbon descendants and followers. The hotels in the last days had the lily emblem of the Kingdom of the two Sicilies. Civitella was the last Southern fortress to surrender to the Savoy troops in 1861. Traditions of the ancient kingdom were re-enacted, also in memory of the last descendant od the King of Naples, Princess Urraca di Borbone, who passed away last year.
