Vasto - One hundred years for Nonna Teresa / Nonna Teresa compie cento anni
Teresa Teti, born on 10 January 1900, "Zia Teresa" for her many acquaintances, will have a big party tomorrow with grangchildren and great-grandchildren coming from Belgium. A specially made plaque will be presented by the circolo comunale pensionati, Vasto, as a goodluck signal to all those who might follow her.

Painter Zunica dies at 93 / È morto il pittore Zunica
Born in Civitella del Tronto on 8 march 1906, Cesare Zunica, ì loved painting yellow mimosas. He painted the vault of Madonna di San Lorenzo in his native place, and worked for a time in Venezuela to settle finally in Pescara with wife and daughters. His style - landscapes, still subjects, nudes - was classical, oil colors his favourite tools, but also stained glass.

Stiffe - thousands of visitors to the grotto crib / In migliaia visitano le grotte, by Michela Corridore
The crib will stay in its place until Jan 16 for the many school visits scheduled. A picnic area is beying prepared, and will be ready for Easter. Another part of the grottos will be opened to visitors, completely surrounded by a waterfall. Stiffe is the only grotto in Italy offering two waterfalls inside and one outside.
