Students, feed on great dreams Studenti, nutritevi di grandi sogni
The first school week is just over, and as usual Chieti archbishop Menichelli has spoken to the students, inviting them not to pursue pleasure obsessively, but to strive towards a different sociaty, where the people with no rights will be foremost. On 26 september the itinerant Jubilee cross will be in Chieti, and monsignor Menichelli encourages the youth «not to be afraid, since in them lies the hope of a history change». School must help the students not only to grow culturally, but morally too. «You must oppose stupidity and feed on great dreams going beyond the passing moment»

Domenico Di Giulio, 60 years old, for the last 17 years a worker in Argentina lost his life in the middle of urban violence. He had left Montefino, found a job in Argentina and married there. Then in 1991 the Di Giulio's came back to Atri, but later decided to go back to Argentina.

The «Calderone» will be a testing ground for future scenarios. Mountain glaciers are an archive of information since each snow layer corresponds to a different year. results from our young mountain will be compared to Cho-Oyu, Tibet, in 2002 by an Italian expedition.
