My father is from Francavilla al Mare and my mother is from Lettomanopello (Pescara). I have been many times to Abruzzo. It is truly a beautiful region.

My Dad , Domenico Donatelli was born in 1897 in Pescocostanzo and my Mom was born in 1905 in Castel del Giudice (both from Abruzzi). Our Unione Abruzzese was founded in the 1930's in Akron, Ohio.
I have been an A member for 40+yrs.

My ancestors came from Pettorano Sul Gizio. My maternal great grandfather Mariano Cipriani, born about 1850. Great grandmother's name Margherita Pinciaro. Other family names Ferrilli, Bonaventura, Cellini, Ginnetti. Porreca is a name associated with an aunt.
