I am trying to trace by grandfather, Nicandro Ciolli who was born in the 1880s in Rocca di Mezzo. He lived in South Africa for a while in the 1900s-1920s, returning to Italy where he died in either 1024 or 1925 aged in his 40s. He had 2 brothers that I know of, Vincenzo and Tonino who also lived in south africa for while, Vincenzo died in Italy in the 1960s.
