Hi, I am searching for any family members of the Bellomo family. My father now deceased, Carl Charles Bellomo, lived in Rochester all his life, but we never knew any of his family. If you have any information please contact me at carol120@datanet.com. Thank you.

Hello,
I will be traveling in Italy in September/October 2006. My grandfather, Dominic Luciano (known as DiLuciano in the United States) was born July 14, 1891 in Montorio al Vomano, Italy. I understand my grandfather had six brothers/sisters. My grandfather left Italy in 1913 and moved to the United States, Pennsylvania and then Ohio. He died September 19, 1968. In 1966 my grandfather returned to Italy for a visit and met up with his sister, Mrs. Louise Falcone, who I believe was in France. I am trying to determine if there are any relatives/friends of the DiLuciano family who can provide additional information. I do not speak or write Italian but will be traveling with a friend who can translate.

My grandfather, Donato Marchegiano, came to America from Casalincontrada, Chieti in june 1902. I am looking for any Marchegianos currently in Casalincontrada who may be related. He had a brother Rafael and a sister Rosa, all who came to America in the early 1900's. I know there were still relatives in Italy because my aunts used to send packages to them.

Hi everybody,
Great website. I am trying to find relatives of mine and especially my father. My fathers name was Giovanni Milano - born 13 may 1930. He used to live in Rosciano - Via San Salvatore - near Pescara. In the years 61/62 he lived and worked in Stuttgart/Stoccarda -Germany, went back to Rosciano and then apparently moved to Belgium. In case someone knows of his whereabouts or is/has been related to him somehow, please do not hesitate to contact me.
No financial interests, I just want to know how he looks and feels (if he's still alive).
Thank you - greetings from germany

Visited Liberatore relatives in Celano in summer of 2003. Four first cousins of my dad were still there, as well as several of their children and grandchildren. Sister and cousin will return August 2006. We want to find information regarding grandfather Rizziero Liberatore's marriage to Concetta Sperandio from Cerchio around 1900-1902. Grandpa came to Rochester NY in 1903 and left Concetta and daughters Santa and Gaetana, returning to bring them back to USA in 1910-1912 but we can't find port of entry. 1920 census shows their children Lorenzo (my father), Francesco, Domenico, Rizziero..... to be followed by Antoinette, Telma, Americo. Concetta Sperandio's family is rumored to have died in 1-13-15 terramoto in L'Aquila province. Does anyone know of her family?

My late maternal grandfather, Pasquale Ditommaso, immigrated to Youngstowm, Ohio in the early 1900's. He was from Bugnara. Upon arriving in America, he changed his name to Patsy Thomas. I was fortunate to know him. He passed away in 1963. I was 9. My mother's mother died when my mom was 5. My grandmother's maiden name was Anna DiVito. I believe she was born in Pittsburgh, PA area or came here as a little girl. Her father's name was Paul DiVito. He too, may have come from Bugnara. I believe I still have relatives in Sulmona and Bugnara. Would love to communicate with them.

Another success story from this web site - I have just returned from a wonderful week in Barrea, inside the national park, and in Rome. I have met all my cousins except two, got the chance to hug my father's two brothers (he has been dead for nearly 20 years!) and see the house where my mother was born. Wonderful family, beautiful village - what a trip! And all because, 5 years ago, I posted a note on this web site asking for information about my family in Italy. It took six months, but my cousin's daughters responded and everything snowballed from there. Just keep trying!
