My maiden name is Palumbo, I am planning a trip to Italy in August and would like to find out if we have any living relatives. My grandmother's name was Giulia Rofino (born on 1/9/1902) and my grandfather's name was Biagio Palumbo (born on 5/21/1894). We know that my grandmother came to America when she was 3 so that would put her here around 1905. We are not sure when my grandfather came or from what region. We do think that they were from the Abruzzo region, possibly Suloma. If anyone has any information that could aid in my search, I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Hi-
I am trying to locate the Palumbo family in Montelapiano. My father was Galizio Palumbo born to Bonafacius Palumbo.
I am travelling back to Montelapiano on July 28th and would like to meet the family and see the grave sites of my Great grandparents Galizio Palumbo and his wife Cecilia Piccoli.

Brian,
My family [Mother's side] came from Pizzone. We are the DiBenedetto clan. My brother Tom Stone took my Mother there a few years ago and ran
into A-LOT of relatives. My Mom was born here shortly after my
Grandfather brought the entire family over so that was her first time
in Pizzone.[1920] Grandfather was here from end of WW1.
They settled in Chicago where we also grew up.Hermitage ave.--Polk
and Taylor.[the old timers] Seems like most of the town did.
If you can get over there you will no doubt find everybody you need
or at least enough people who will know your family.
I can ask my Mom if she knows your family. I just accidently googled this site for a distraction from work this am. Good luck.

I am trying to find my cousin who lived in Pescara, Italy for many years, possibly still living there. His name is Remo Milevolte (question on spelling). His mother's name is Eva and father was Romelo who died in the USA approximately early 1960's. Two aunts who lived in Pescara were named Lina Allegreti and Emma (not sure of last name). Emma's daughter's name is Theresa. My mother's name is Elisa (Alice) DeMarco McLaughlin, daughther of Elvidia (Elvira) and Ludovico DeMarco. My sister's name is Kathy, who visited Pescara in 1978.

I am doing research for a family with the surname Nigro, who had originally lived in Italy, most likely in Genova. The family may have been Italian Jewish ancestry and if anyone has known of such a name (family) it would be nice to know. Thank you,
