I'm looking for any relatives I might have in or from Italy
My grandfather's family are from a small town called Corpi Santi near Lama dei deligni and their names are:
Crocinto D'Eramo born 12-30-1870 d. 9-9-1921
his wife maria Carmela Cocco born 2-10-1875 d.12-11-1927
Giovanni D'Eramo born 9-14-1843 died unknown
Guiseppe E. Cocco born 10-21-1842 died 7-19-1842
Erminia Di Giacomo born March 1852 died 6-22-1919

Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Macedonia, on August 27, 1910. Her family was of Albanian descent. At the age of twelve, she felt strongly the call of God. She knew she had to be a missionary to spread the love of Christ. At the age of eighteen she left her parental home in Skopje and joined the Sisters of Loreto, an Irish community of nuns with missions in India. After a few months' training in Dublin she was sent to India, where on May 24, 1931, she took her initial vows as a nun. From 1931 to 1948 Mother Teresa taught at St. Mary's High School in Calcutta, but the suffering and poverty she glimpsed outside the convent walls made such a deep impression on her that in 1948 she received permission from her superiors to leave the convent school and devote herself to working among the poorest of the poor in the slums of Calcutta. Although she had no funds, she depended on Divine Providence, and started an open-air school for slum children. Soon she was joined by voluntary helpers, and financial support was also forthcoming. This made it possible for her to extend the scope of her work.
On October 7, 1950, Mother Teresa received permission from the Holy See to start her own order, "The Missionaries of Charity", whose primary task was to love and care for those persons nobody was prepared to look after. In 1965 the Society became an International Religious Family by a decree of Pope Paul VI.

Pasquale Scuillo and Laura Scuillo (Le Donne-maiden name) were my grandparents. I believe they from Ateleta, Italy. They arrive in USA Oct 13,1903, and lived in Pittsburgh, Pa. area in Bloomfield...trying to remember some of our relatives also living in Bloomfield were the Zappa's, Le Donne, Monicelli. My dad Nicola Cenci came to usa in 1911, met mom and married my mom,,, Anna Sciullo, he was a Tailor like his father, Raffaele (my grandfather), he returned to Italy, my guess is to the town where he passed away and where my Dad born ...Vastogiardi,in Campobasso,region of Molise. My great grandfather was also named Guiseppe Cercone. I know they are from the Ateleta, Abbruzzo area. Im not sure if it is the same person but his son Guido is from Pittsburgh, PA. He had 4 sons their families live in Pittsburgh, Seminole, FL, Rogers City, MI. My brother Ben lives in Colombus, Indiana.

I am trying to trace my grandfather's relatives moved to us.
Through Ellis Island web site I found out a name and, if I'm right, I'm pretty close to solution.
Roberto Morelli, that's the name, went to the U.S. in 1910 at the age of 29.
The document mentions his wife Giovanna but nothing else. He left Italy from Naples .His record is very hard to read but it appears he went to N.Y., (possibly Buffalo) to his in-law, Luigi xxxxx. I can't make out the last name. He may have been traveling with a Francesco or Francesca Alfonsetti, also from Paganica.On the record it does mention that Roberto was bald.
i am sure they had two sons, Jimmy and Dario, I don't know if they were born in us or Italy.
i also have the first address they lived in California, temple City.
if somebody can help me in discovering something that would be fantastic.

I am researching the Venanzi (Vananzo)family. I understand my boyfriend's grandfather Luigi F. Venanzi was born in Controguerra. The ship manifest says his last residence was Tortoreto. I am trying to trace my grandfather's relatives moved to us.
Through Ellis Island web site I found out a name and, if I'm right, I'm pretty close to solution.
Roberto Morelli, that's the name, went to the U.S. in 1910 at the age of 29.
The document mentions his wife Giovanna but nothing else. He left Italy from Naples .His record is very hard to read but it appears he went to N.Y., (possibly Buffalo) to his in-law, Luigi xxxxx. I can't make out the last name. He may have been traveling with a Francesco or Francesca Alfonsetti, also from Paganica.On the record it does mention that Roberto was bald.
i am sure they had two sons, Jimmy and Dario, I don't know if they were born in us or Italy.
i also have the first address they lived in California, temple City.
if somebody can help me in discovering something that would be fantastic.
