Hi my name is Marilyn Mazzocchitti and I am trying locate anyone who has the surname Mazzocchitti. I live in Toronto and there are no other families with the surname Mazzocchitti. My father, was born in Pescina, Italy and my grandfather had many brothers and sisters that settled in other regions of Italy and a brother who settled in the US. I believe in Buffalo, Rochester. Ciao, I am looking for anyone who has any information on Luigi Natale Cerasani from San Benedetto dei Marsi/ Pescina, L'Aquila, Abruzzi. He is said to have 12 brothers. Luigi was born in on December 23, 1876 to Gaetano Cerasani, and Mariantonia Parisse Cerasani. Some time in the early 1900s he married Carolina Bruno from Altavilla Irpina, Avellino, Campania. They then moved, along with Carolina's father and mother, to São Paulo, Brasil for a few years where they worked on a coffee plantation. Finally in 1907, Luigi and Carolina settled in Rochester, New York. Please let me know if you have any information on la famiglia Cerasani, Bruno, or Parisse, or are a part of it.

My grandfather's family,the TESTA Family is from Trivento province di Compobasso. I went with my Grandparents to vist our relatives in 1961 and will always remember the town and the people and how wonderful they were to me. I have lost track of all of my relatives since my Aunt and Uncle died. Most have different last names because of marriage. Looking for anything on the Saulino family. My grandfather
was Carmello Saulino. Came here in the early 1900's.
His town in Molise of Isernia has a heritage I've read about which included Croatia. As Croatians repopulated the town several km from the Adriatic in the 1600's, because the town was decimated by a plague.
