We believe our grandparents, Louis DiLorenzo and Mary Fiore, came to America around 1915. Name chaged to Lorenzo. Originally lived in St.Paul,MN area (2yrs) then moved to Buffalo,NY where most of our Lorenzo family remained. Our grandparents were from the Torre de Passeri area. We would like to reconnect with our relatives in Italy. Thankyou.

Hello,
I previously posted a message some time ago and changed my email address. I have updated some information and would be interested in hearing from any relatives.

My father, Tommaso Racano, was born in Fresagradinaria in 1935. My grandfather was Cosmo Racano and my grandmother's maiden name was Prassede Granata, who was born in San Salvo in 1903. She has some family in Italy.

My father emmigrated to Canada in 1957 and my grandmother and one sister (Maria) eventually came to join him. He has one sister (Emma) in France and another sister (Claudina) in Pescara, who retired from the Verona Sisters.

There are many people from this region living in Winnipeg Canada. My father has since been back to visit and was happy to see many of the people he grew up with. Both he and I would be pleased to hear from anyone and welcome your comments.

Our roots go back to Loreto Aprutino, provincia di Pescara. My parents came to the US in the early 20th century. Both have passed now, leaving many questions about our roots. My paternal grandfather was Pasquale Sideri, married twice. Once to one sister, and when she passed, he married the second sister. There were children from both marriages. Many of the children settled in Massachusetts. We would like to know more about the era of Pasquale and Luisa, etc.

If anyone know anything about this time, please share this with me.

Hi,
looking for my Italian roots. My grandfather and grandmother and father left Rivisondola or Roccacaraso or Barrea in 1904 to America. Grand fathers name was Jerome DiCola and my grandmothers name Nunziata ( Silvestri) DiCola. My father's name was Andrew, and he was 2years old when he left Italy. In the 1950's my grandmother returned to one of these towns and paid to have a fountain built or rebuilt in the center of one of these towns. At this time she still had relatives living there. My Grandparents and father are all deceased. Doe's anyone out there have any information on DiCola's still living in this area of Italy.
I plan to retire in 2006 and will go to italy and try to find any living relatives there.
thanks!

Greetings to all! My name is John anzini. I am looking for any information regarding my family. My grandfather's name was Joseph Anzini who came from Tagliacozzo according to my father who was also Joseph Anzini. My father visited Tagliacozo and spoke to my grand fathers brother or relatives when his military duty took him to the area. Unfortunatly my father has passed away without our ever having the oppertunity to visit the area he knew. So my search continues. Any information that anyone can provide would be helpful. Many thanks and God bless you all.

I was very pleased to find your website. I've tried in the past to locate some information for my father but was unsuccessful until this moment. My father was born in Bucchianico, Italy. His lastname is DiLanzo. I now only have an aunt and uncle and some cousins still in Bucchianico. It has been 20 years since I have been there. I hope to keep in touch. Thank you. Diana
