Addendum to my earlier message: My paternal grandparents, Giuseppe Costantini and Teresina Sabetti immigrated to Ottawa, Canada in and around 1910-1915. They came from the area of Campobasso/Province of Teramo. They were married in Ottawa in March of 1917. There was also another brother, Ilario Costantini who married Giovannina Sabetti. Any information or relatives out there, please let me know.

great resources - I am looking for my mothers family named OCCHIOCUPO. Her fathers name was Donato Occhiocupo from the province of Teramo. He came to America and married Elizabeth (Lucy) Reale. from Kelayres, Pa. He died at the age of 29. Not much is known of his family, as my mother was only 9 years old when he passed away. There was a brother, we think, by the name Luigi. If anyone can help me to find relatives, please e-mail me.

I am very interested in hearing from any relative I may have here in America whose last name is Candelori. I was born in Roseto degli Abruzzi and came to America as a small child after WWII. I have returned to Roseto several times to meet and see my family again. Italy is a beautiful country. My husband who is not Italian loves it as much as I do.

My name is Cathleen Falsani Possley. My grandfather (Ceasar Falsani) and grandmother (Aida Rocca) were from Vicoli. Both emigrated from Abruzzo to the United States around 1910 and settled in Milford, NH, a small town about 75 miles from Boston. My father, Mario Falsani of Connecticut; brother, Lt. Mark Dante Falsani of Texas; cousin Robert Falsani of Minnesota and his son, Kelly Falsani, of same; are the only surviving Falsani's that I know of, either in the states or in Italy. Priscilla Gemmill (listed below) is my father's first cousin. Haven't made it to Italia yet, but have plans to do so in the next year or two.

We need a chat room for those of us with links to the Chieti-Pescara area. I am at the research stage of a creative non-fiction book going back to my maternal grandparents and hope to obtain as much information as possible before the year ends. If anyone is related to Pantalone, please contact.

What a great site! I am a first generation Italian. Both parents migrated from Italy in the 1950's. Dad from the Abruzzi region-small town called Torrevecchia-provincia di Chieti. I have a grandmother and uncle along with many other relatives still living there, what a beautiful region!! I visited once in 1990 and stayed for five weeks and loved every minute of it!! -I was fascinated by everything. I found I was related to an entire village! Family I had never met before treated me as if they had known me for years!! I had the greatest experience of my life! Can't wait to return!! Thanks again for this opportunity to communicate with others!!
