His birth name is Giovanni Batisti Natale Ciacchi, born December 1st, 1910. His father was born in Goriano Sicolo. His name was Riccardo Ciacchi, he married Guispina (Josephine) Bellettieri. Her father was Francesco from Messina Sicily. His granfather's name was Ponfilo Ciacchi(his great-grandfather was Bonafide) and his granfather's wife was Maria Cifani. I would like to put something together for him. Thank-you.

My mother's father was born May 28, 1896 in Ofena and his name was Rocco DiMarco. His brothers' names are John, Nick and Tony. His sister is Concetta. There were nine other siblings who died in infancy or at a young age. Rocco came to Canada as a young man and worked in the gold mines in Timmins, Ontario. He later sponsored other relatives to come to North America. The Canadian branch of the family spells the name DeMarco (error made by department of immigration) and the American relatives spell it DiMarco. Rocco's father's name was Arquino (sp). I am interested in contacting any relatives still living in Ofena.

Interested in any information on Speranza family. Dante Speranza born 19 dec 1923 is probably my father.
My relatives kept it secret from me until two week`s ago. When I found out, it shocked me a lott, but I start doing some research.
I found out that Dante Speranza came to sweden 1950 employed by ASEA in Västerås. He met my mother and somehow they fell in love, and my mother got pregnant. I was born 30 nov 1951, one month before my birth my father left Sweden for Winipeg in Canada. I know that he tried to bring me and my mother to Winipeg, but my grandparents didn´t approve. This is all I know, so I would be very grateful for any information.
I realy looking forward to meet a lot of (for me) unknown relatives,I have two daughters myself.
