Fabrizio De André
De André is among the best-loved poets of Italian music, with his melancholy ballads telling of outcasts.
Born in Genoa on 18 February 1940, he passed away prematurely in Milan on 11 January 1999. In over 40 years of artistic committment, he was a real "artisan" of the Italian language, and is included in literary anthologies.
