My grandfather, Leonard Giovanni Giannangeli, born Oct.13, 1884 in Barisciano Italy. He came to America 2 times and returned to Barisciano. He returned to America in 1911 and stayed, he lived and died in Bellaire Ohio. His 2 brothers Ralph and Leonard also lived in Bellaire, (their time of arrival we do not know) He had a brother Alberico who came to the U.S but went back to Barisciano. His other siblings; Elisa, Natalina, Ersilia, and Maria (she was married to Pietro Taralli) My grandfather's name in America was John, we did not know about Leonardo until we started to search for more information about him. His father's name was Animio (spelling is not correct, I am sure) We would like to find out his mothers name and more information about his family then and now. Also, we would like to find his birth certificate. Thank You.

I would like to find any family members or perhaps the address of the house my grandfather grew up in. My grandfather, Paul Mariani is from Sulmona, Italy. He was born on September 18, 1907. He came to the USA through Ellis Island, N.Y. He was in the Navy Reserve in WWII in the South Pacific. He later settled in Florida, USA. I know he had a few siblings, one of them being a brother who he was very fond of, Donato Mariani. I also know they had a big house fire in Sulmona,Italy and his mother saved all the children. If anyone could help me find any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

I am searching for information about my grandparents, John Cerasani (11.15.84) and Mary Zauri Cerasani (4.22.88) - both born in San Benedetto di Marsi, and immigrated to US (through Canada, I think) around 1904, settling in Chicago. John was the son of Vincenzo Cerasani and Alessandrina di Genova, who had 12 children: Cesare, John, Angelo, Emilio, Antonio, Guiseppe, Vincentio, and 5 children who died in an earthquake in Italy: Agnese, Angelina, Santa and 2 boys. I believe that John and Mary were married in Italy, and that John served in the Italian army. I would appreciate any info about either Cerasani or Zauri.

Just decided to look up Rocarasso where my grandparents were from. Does anyone know or have relatives to Albert(o) Giancola who came to US through Ellis Island in approx. 1908, and later sent for his wife, (last name Metta)who died many years before I was born. I'm in Florida now and not at home so my info is sketchy without my files. He worked in Marlboro MA (USA) in the shoe factories for years. They had four sons, my father Pasquale born Feb 1913, Armand(o), Dante, and Romeo. They are also related to families sith surnames Nicodemo and DeGregorie - Digregory not sure of spelling. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
