Montagnes Valdôtaines
Vous ètes mes amours
Hameaux, clochers, fontaines
Vous me plairez toujours
Mountains of the Aosta Valley
you are my love
Hamlets, towers, fountains
You always please me

Rien n'est si beau que ma patrie
Rien n'est si doux que mon amie
Nothing is more beautiful than my homeland
Nothing is sweeter than my love

Ô montagnards - ô montagnards
Chantez enchoeur - chantez enchoeur
De mon pays - de mon pays
la paix et le bonheur
De mon pays - de mon pays
la paix et le bonheur
O highlanders
sing in chorus
of my homeland
the peace and happiness

Halte là! Halte là! Halte là!
Les montagnards, les montagnards
Halte là! Halte là! Halte là!
Les montagnards sont là!
Les montagnards les montagnards
Les montagnards sont là
Les montagnards les montagnards
Les montagnards sont là
Les montagnards les montagnards
sont là
Halt there! Halt there! Halt there!
the highlanders, the highlanders
Halt there! Halt there! Halt there!
the highlanders are there
the highlanders, the highlanders
the highlanders are there
the highlanders, the highlanders
the highlanders are there
the highlanders, the highlanders
are there

Laisse là tes montagnes!
Me dit un ètranger;
Suis-moi dans mes campagnes,
Viens, ne sois plus Berger.
Laisse là tes montagnes!
Me dit un èntranger.
Leave your mountains
a stranger told me
follow me in the countryside
come, be no more a mountain dweller
