Angelo Branduardi

Born at Cuggiono, province of Milan, in 1950, moved very early to Genoa.
Angelo BranduardiA song-writer, singer and violinist, he studied Italian Renaissance music extensively. His unique, distinctive songs join together traces of classical music, traditional ballads, poetry, rock music. As a performer on stage, he is unforgettable: dressed as a Renaissance minstrel, with virtuoso vocalization and masterly violin music, flute, unusual instruments and fantastic arrangements.

For his achievements, Angelo Branduardi was awarded the "Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana" (OMRI) the highest civilian honor in Italy.
